BEÚ Spirits is our tribute to the cycles of nature and Mexican traditions.

We at BEÚ spirits place great emphasis on authenticity. This is why we support local traditions, respect the cultural heritage and only work with Maestros Mezcaleros - to guarantee you the best possible ancestral and artesanal agave spirits. We work exclusively with small producers who rely on a great deal of experience and a large wealth of knowledge.

Our goal is to operate in harmony with nature and maintain its balance: Producing smaller, high-quality mezcal batches gives the agave enough time to regenerate - an agave needs an impressive 8 to 25 years to reach maturity! In addition, our labels are sustainably produced with the fibrous waste products from the pulping process.

BEÚ Spirits is a collective of friends from Mexico, Switzerland, Germany and Peru with a great love for mezcal and agave spirits. Our team performs extensive tastings and refining techniques to select the best production methods to perfect our agave spirits.

THIRTEEN MOONS is a collection of 13 unique agave spirits. Each of these artesanal mezcales are exclusively produced as limited edition microbadges - and are true collector's items. THIRTEEN MOONS are crafted by selected maestros and maestras mezcaleros/as following their decades-old family traditions.

The THIRTEEN MOONS special editions are a tribute to the Zapotec god of infinity and abstraction, Coqui Xee. Coqui Xee symbolized the 13 appearances of the moon during the 365 days of the annual cycle. The cyclic nature of the repetition of the year created the belief in a single God with 13 different attributes, theological attributions, or invocations.
